Multicolor Abstract

This very modern piece consists of five 8″x8″ paintings mounted on a wooden box measuring 18″x70″x .75″ . The wood is a very dark shade of brown with an almost matte finish..
All ’tiles’ have heavy texture and were worked with the knife. Each ’tile’ has a unique design, each one in a different color. The colors are very deep and bright . The paintings are finished with a high gloss varnish which makes a very good contrast with the dark matte background..
The piece can be hung either horizontally or vertically based on your preference. I prefer it vertically and that is how I took the picture.
